Unveiling Dark Country cards details you always wanted to know
Since we are close to launching our updates, like unpacker and Alpha version, we want to clarify some data about Dark Country cards supply, which can be used as NFT items.

Standard cards details — https://medium.com/@darkcountrygame/dark-country-project-next-stage-b1c55e332fa8
Before we will proceed, it is needed to clarify that only bought Dark Country items are transferable and could become an NFT. Majority of other items, which have been got as a bonus, are non-transferable. Only a tiny part of promotional items are transferable as well.
Exodus cards
Exodus cards sale was the initial sales offer and lasts till 14th February 2020.
There were 2015 Exodus packs sold with the next rarity distribution (including all bundles).
In addition, there were 139 boosters bought in that period. Each booster can be used for 5 packs, so totally 695 packs can be boosted.
Exodus packs consist of 5 cards. One card has guaranteed rarity and corresponds to pack rarity. Other 4 cards will be randomly distributed with next probabilities:
- Common card — 65%
- Rare card — 30%
- Epic card — 4%
- Legendary card — 1%
*Mythical cards are not distributed
These probabilities can be changed using a booster.
Note: Booster increases probability of dropping Rare, Epic and Legendary cards at the expense of Common cards
Summarizing all data above, let’s take a look at the final numbers of Exodus cards. These cards can be transferred as NFTs.
Standard cards
Standard cards are available for purchase for now and were selling at the Second stage, finished on April 29th.
There is two main differences of the Second sale stage:
- Guaranteed rarity pack — it is guaranteed to get one card equal to pack rarity
- Mythical packs — it was the last stage, where Mythical packs can be bought
So let’s get in details of the second sale stage.
There were 1139 Standard packs with guaranteed rarity sold with the next rarity distribution (including all bundles).
As in the Exodus sale stage, at this stage boosters were selling as well. There were 90 boosters bought in that period. Each booster can be used for 5 packs, so totally 450 packs can be boosted.
Standard packs with guaranteed rarity consist of 5 cards. One card has guaranteed rarity and corresponds to pack rarity. Other 4 cards will be randomly distributed with next probabilities:
- Common card — 65%
- Rare card — 30%
- Epic card — 4%
- Legendary card — 1%
*Mythical cards are not distributed
These probabilities can be changed using a booster.
Summarizing all data above, let’s take a look at the final numbers of Standard cards sold on the Second sale stage. These cards can be transferred as NFTs.
All other Standard cards are now on sale, Except Mythical. So the numbers of Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary cards can be changed over time.
Conclusion
At the end of Second sale stage we have 15 770 transferable cards:
- 10 075 Exodus cards
- 5 695 Standard cards
It is the amount of cards sold during the presale and not includes promotional items. In turn, transferable promotional items will be no more than 10% of total supply.
