$70k worth of NFT dropped by Dark Country

Several weeks ago we dropped impressive 461 494 items across all WAX blockchain accounts, which existed at that time. Our goal was to show what is NFT about and nice things started to happen. People discovered our NFTs on their wallets and started to ask about here and there.

Value and market making

We dropped several kinds of cards with different rarity, and we found that the market defined the price of those cards at a level of 5 WAX. There are more rare cards, so a price is even higher like 100, 500 WAX.

WAX network test

To drop 461 494 NFTs in the WAX blockchain we spent 3 days. There were 6 streams working simultaneously.

It was one of the first such massive network tests and we are proud that the network was stable, without any issues. During the NFT drop we reached record numbers of TPS — more than 1200!

Dark Country NFTs

Dark Country finished 2nd sale stage last week and now we are getting to the major milestone this time for us — Private Alfa game version. We estimate the total market cap of issued items to be around $1M in USD.

Of course this is an estimate and it can be stretched as well as we will have plenty of things behind current pack sales such as expansion packs, cosmetics and so on.
